Our Members

Kits yacht club members are a cross-section of Vancouver. Some members are retired; some don't work yet, singles, families. All share a love of getting out on the water using only the power mother nature gives us. Mostly sail, but some paddle. Power is reserved for when it's the only choice; rescue, coach boats and racing support.
 

Membership at Kitsilano Yacht Club

Sailing amenities, besides the great sailing waters of English Bay, include ground storage (for the keen racer), a crane for dry-sailing, a ramp for hand launching sailing dinghies, kayaks, canoes and sailboards, rack storage for kayaks and canoes and of course the proximity to downtown Vancouver- right next to Kits Beach.

Clubhouse with patio and the million dollar view all included. Members may reserve the Clubhouse for private functions.

Kitsilano Yacht Club also has reciprocal guest arrangements with many yacht clubs around the world and is a respected member of the yachting fraternity.

We expect involvement from our members to help keep costs down, help other members, and encourage others to share the great mental health break we all get by getting out on the water. There are several different membership options.....
