Description

KYC hosts a Thursday night dinghy race series for members and their guests. This is one important way we  "foster amateur yachting on English Bay... ...and encourage competition at the highest level."

Conducted under the racing rules of sailing, the friendly competition is fun and safe for new sailors and seasoned competitors alike.  If you want to go for a sail, there's always someone eager to take you - post your name on the notice board at the club or e-mail the manager.  The Lightning and 5O5 fleets are most active in this series and all boats of any class are welcome. 

 

The first gun is at 6 pm, sharp, and we run one or more short races until sunset.

 

On Thursday Nights our members enjoy hot meals in the clubhouse after racing.  All members and their guests are welcome by reservation.
